This is probably my favourite update so far because it is the eyecandy update. I'm happy to release 0.3.0 which is basically the huge UI update, along with the new UI is the new full wordmark logo that has been long overdue! Also I've added a frame rate limiter which is useful for power saving/a more stable framerate on devices that can't reach 60 fps. There is also now a tab in the About game window that shows the same information as the debug menu in game.
I have no specific goals in mind for when 0.4.0 releases, but I think it will release before the end of the month. 0.5 might take longer though as I might be busy in June. I do have a couple of ideas for the next update which will be more focused on the quality of life stuff instead of gameplay changes.
Note: the updated macOS version hasn't released yet as I haven't got an easy way of publishing them on Linux yet. Expect it to be available in a couple of days.
Themed the UI to be similar to the website, I've also changed the website with some of the design changes from the game.
Completely redone the layout of the title screen which happens to better match the original version of the game.
Move the About game button to be it's own button
Added an option to adjust the maximum framerate. On iOS a 30 FPS toggle used instead to the fact that VSync is always force enabled
Started work on the custom controller glyphs, currently on the DS3/4 and Xbox 360 controllers have some custom glyphs
A new pause menu that also has icon buttons to resemble the title screen.
Updated the splash screen with the new full wordmark logo
Added a mute button for audio
Added system info to the About window
The extra controller glyphs for the second row of tabs in the about window now only show in the credits tab
The next game update is already being worked on and there is already 2 new things that have been added so far.
