After roughly 4 months of development (but more like 2) I'm happy to announce the release of 0.1.0, which is the first major version of the game.

Hayley & Ray is a work progress game that has minigames along side an upcoming story mode about two foxgirls that meet at a train station and then a meet up to play a virtual reality game where they have to collect various parts of a VR headset to complete the game.
There is also various minigames planned which will support online multiplayer, such as golf cart racing alongside some singleplayer minigames such as golf time trial.
Additional Info
The game will be available to download on this website for free. The game will be licenced under the MIT licence when I can be bothered to setup a git forge. The game is being using the Homebrodot engine. I'm updating the web version on a semi-regular basis until 0.1.0 comes out, once 0.1.0 comes out it probably will only get updated each major version of the game.
Development Info
The story mode of the game is based on a story I wrote throughout 2023, work started on the original version of the game was started in January 2025, the new remake was started in October 2025 and is still being frequently worked on.
Roadmap
Between 0.1.0 and 0.5.0 - various QoL improvements and other polish.
March/April 2026 - 0.5.0 release which adds the second minigame.
May 2026 - 0.7.0 release which adds the third minigame
Late 2026 - 1.0 full release with the story mode added
Please note: these release times are approximate.
Minimum Requirements
While there currently isn't an explicit focus on optimisation, the game should be playable (at least 25 fps average) on most devices, I have tested on budget mobile devices from 2014 and 2016 and they were reaching over 25 fps in game. I have not been able to test much on the PC side as I only have a single working PC from the 2000s but it's playable on a 2007 iMac.
